Vayamos a buscar nuestras raíces Nos hace bien.

about

This album is based and inspired on the Mayan Chiapanecan culture from the south of México. The Mexican Ensemble of Spirit Music presented the Album Cantos al Corazón en los Altos de Chiapas, translation that received two grants from the National Fund for Culture and Arts (FONCA), for composing and producing this Album.

The songs offer and cultivate deep appreciation and respect to life featuring traditional Mexican instruments and rhythms of Son Jarocho as well as rhythms form other parts of the world in 7/8, 9/8 and 11/8 beats.

The instrumentation: Voice, Jarana, requinto, violin, flamenco guitar, percussions form the world flute and piano.

It is vital that the artistic expressions of our current culture support the process of human transformation and awakening. Music is a Universal language that leaves an impression directly into on the human soul
